Is 30 days enough time to make lasting change? Can you become a better version of yourself in 30 days? In 30 days, will your efforts pay off? What will you be doing in 30 days?
One of my favorite motivational sayings goes something like this: "Go ahead and do {insert action]; it will take time, but the time will pass anyway." Yes! True! So what kind of change can you really make in 30 days? Let me answer that with one more question. If for 30 days, you attempted to make any change, and at the end of 30 days you felt you made 1% of progress, is that not considered change? One percent of progress in the direction you would like to go, IS progress. This is such a hard concept for so many to grasp, myself included. (I am making progress accepting this belief) :) Lasting change takes time. It takes continual, actionable habits over time. However, if you want to change and do not take a step in the direction of progress, things will remain the same. If you would like to see one percent (or more) of progress and want some support in the next 30 days, join in on the 30-Day Health and Fitness Challenge. The challenge begins October 2.
