I am on a journey to be the best version of me. There is no competition with others, only against the me of yesterday. I will keep moving forward, be it ever so slowly, seeking just progress, not perfection. Because, 1% of progress, IS PROGRESS!
Studying for and earning my Personal Trainer certification (June 2015) was an exciting accomplishment. This path has given me the tools I need to assist people seeking a healthier life. When some people think of personal trainers they think of elite body builder types, chiseled, buff athletes, or drill sergeants. I have met many personal trainers in my days, some as described but many are not. Most of the trainers I have met are regular people, with every day struggles concerning choices and motivation. I am no exception. Since 2015, I have amped up my own fitness journey. This began while I was experiencing ill health and knew I needed to change much about my life. Through a firm focus on healthful eating, regular physical activity with modifications as needed for injuries along the way, to being a year-long coaching client of a very reputable nutrition program, I was able to make strides and find a HOPE for HEALTH I never really imagined was possible. More about my story to come. If you are looking to gain health or just a few healthier habits, I would love to consult with you to see if my services would be a good fit. I currently have openings for 1-1 or small group training clients with in-person or online training packages available.
