Is 30 days enough time to make lasting change? Can you become a better version of yourself in 30 days? In 30 days, will your efforts pay off? What will you be doing in 30 days?
One of my favorite motivational sayings goes something like this: "Go ahead and do {insert action]; it will take time, but the time will pass anyway." Yes! True! So what kind of change can you really make in 30 days? Let me answer that with one more question. If for 30 days, you attempted to make any change, and at the end of 30 days you felt you made 1% of progress, is that not considered change? One percent of progress in the direction you would like to go, IS progress. This is such a hard concept for so many to grasp, myself included. (I am making progress accepting this belief) :) Lasting change takes time. It takes continual, actionable habits over time. However, if you want to change and do not take a step in the direction of progress, things will remain the same. If you would like to see one percent (or more) of progress and want some support in the next 30 days, join in on the 30-Day Health and Fitness Challenge. The challenge begins October 2. In Florida, the thermometer says summer, but the calendar says autumn is right around the corner. Getting outdoors is easier when the humidity drops (not yet) and it just feels good! It is also time for "Fall into Fitness Challenges". They will popping up at every turn. Find one that you can buy into, not really with your money, but with all of your effort. Find one that fits your needs. Mark your calendars for my first fall health and fitness challenge. I will be holding a fall challenge from October 2 - 31. We will focus on 4 key areas of health and wellness: water consumption, self-care, fitness, and nutrition. I hope you will join in the fun! **************************************************************************************************************** EVERY COACH NEEDS A COACH!As my journey of fitness and faith continues, I am so excited to finally have a coach. I believe that having a coach is a huge piece to reaching a desired destination. It is similar to having a GPS for a long trip. They can assist you through the journey, help you recalculate your route if you get off track, and encourage you along the way.
Securing a coach has already made a great difference in my journey in several ways. More on this to come in future notes. As the end of the school year approaches, excitement for the future builds. New and continuing, clients, fitness challenges, online training programs, kids fit camp, and more. These are things in the works for this girl!
If you are currently in a place where you feel like you just need a push or pull, gentle or firm, I would be happy to help. It has always been my passion to help others. HELPER! OTHERS!! So for now, short and sweet post to say, stay tuned for great things to come! Smiles :) |
